BS Nursing

Candidates who are currently appearing in the FSC Part-II examination (with 50% marks in the 1st year) may apply, accompanied by a HOPE certificate duly signed by the Principal of the respective college/institution to confirm the attainment of 50% marks. Upon the declaration of Part-II results, candidates must promptly submit their FSC marks sheet.

 Trained Nurses

Eligibility is restricted to individuals with a domicile in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, or Gilgit Baltistan.

Only candidates possessing a BSc in Nursing (Generic Qualification) are eligible; individuals with diplomas need not submit applications.

Candidates are required to be registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).

Preference will be granted to those who have completed post-basic specialized courses, including ICU, OT, CCU, etc., from a hospital or institute officially recognized by the PNC

Ineliigbility Conditions

  • Twice declined by the General Headquarters (GHQ) Selection Board.
  • Determined as Medically Unfit by the Appeal Medical Board.
  • Individuals withdrawn, resigned, or discharged from Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force) training academies/institutions due to disciplinary issues, character concerns, medical inefficiency, weak profile, or deemed unsuitable.
  • Individuals dismissed or removed from any other government service.
  • For BSc Nursing only – candidates must already be registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council.
  • Convicted by a Court of Law for an offense involving moral turpitude.
  • For trained Nursing, only domicile holders of Punjab, Balochistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible.

Required Documents

  • Original certificates, documents, and detailed marks sheets, accompanied by two attested photocopies of each educational certificate/degree.
  •  Candidates currently employed in government institutions/departments must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the relevant establishment.
  •  An attested photocopy of the domicile.
  •  Photocopies of the computerized National Identity Card.
  •  3 colored photos, duly attested on both the front and back.

Selection Process

  • Separate call-up letters will be issued for the interview.
  • Successful candidates will receive call-up notices for the interview.

Training Period

BSc Nursing 

A four-year training program at AFPGMI Rawalpindi, CMH Lahore, CMH Kharian, CMH Multan, CMH Bahawalpur, CMH Quetta, and PNS Shifa Karachi.

Trained Nurses

 A six-week Basic Military Training at AFPGMI Rawalpindi and CMH Kharian.
