TCF Social Internship Programme

Program Structure 

The TCF Social Internship Programme consists of three different programs, each with its focus and goals.

TCF Summer Camp

Program Overview

TCF Summer Camp is a non-teaching initiative dedicated to fostering extra-curricular activities. Established in 2003, this program operates during the summer holidays and is hosted at selected school venues throughout Pakistan. Its primary focus is on utilizing game-based learning to augment the knowledge and social skills of students in the third, fourth, and fifth grades.

Who Should Apply

The program invites candidates aged 15 to 23 years to participate as volunteers. Commitment entails a minimum of two weeks, from Monday to Saturday, with sessions running from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Benefits for Volunteers

Volunteers stand to gain social benefits through their participation, fostering teamwork skills in the process. Additionally, a certificate of participation will be awarded to acknowledge and celebrate their commitment.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will receive notification via email. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply at their earliest convenience. Details about the mandatory orientation session will be communicated to volunteers through email.

Rahbar Programme

Overview

Initiated in 2008, the Rahbar Programme is a Youth Mentorship Programme for eighth and ninth-grade TCF students.

The program involves volunteers from various walks of life who gather to mentor young individuals, aiming to help them become responsible and productive members of society.

The program spans six consecutive Saturdays and takes place at selected TCF Schools across Pakistan.

Key Features

• The guiding principle is ‘Soch se Taqdeer’ (Thought to Destiny), encouraging young minds to see themselves as creators of their destinies.
• The program instills a sense of hope in both students and mentors.
• Trusted bonds are developed to help students discover their inner strengths and capacities, fostering their full potential in life.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

• Strict SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety measures are in place due to COVID-19.
• Only individuals fully vaccinated for COVID-19 are eligible to sign up for the program.
• The safety and security of students and volunteers are prioritized.

Baghbaan Programme

The TCF Baghbaan Programme offers volunteering opportunities to support fundraising efforts.
